Laura Nowlan, PRESIDENT
Laura has lived in Las Vegas for 10 years as a profoundly invested member of her church, her family, her community and her business, See Us Now Staffing, Inc. Laura has completely devoted herself to success in all aspects of her life. Laura's vast experience ranges from project management, multi-property recruiting and staffing, sales, marketing, operations, payroll and public relations. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California State University in San Bernardino and an Associate’s Degree in Business from San Bernardino Valley College.
Laura opened See Us Now Staffing, Inc. in October 2014 with her business partner Yadira Barbarin. Laura stated, “I got tired of working for others. I felt I could continue working 24/7 for other people and end up with the same result over and over again, or I could take a leap of faith and use everything I learned and start my own staffing company.” Laura took this leap of faith and 2 years later See Us Now Staffing is not only going strong, but will be expanding soon to include a Special Services division that will include comprehensive Human Resources Consulting services for current and future clients. This will be a fully rounded program to service all the needs of our small to medium size clients.
When asked what she believes sets See Us Now Staffing, Inc. apart, Laura explains, “I believe our tag line says it all. ‘Many are called, but few are chosen.’ While we interview everyone, we don’t hire everyone. We hire team members, not employees; people who want to engage with us and invest in our team. We believe in creating an environment of hardworking professionals that will contribute to creating a true and long-lasting partnership with our clients. Sometimes this does mean letting our team members or clients go, but, in order to have a winning team, it has to be a win-win for everyone!"
In her spare time, you can find Laura contributing her valuable time to others in her church, her family and her community through her many volunteer efforts with The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship, Nevada Hispanic Business Group, Arturo Cambeiro Elementary School, Hope for Prisoners, Refuge for Women and mentoring many single mothers, teens and entrepreneurs throughout our community. Laura mentors others in order to give back what was given to her many years ago. When asked why she volunteers, she replied “I am here to serve my community and not to be served.” Laura has a love for people and it shows in her every interaction with others through her high energy, excitement and caring attitude.
